TAZAAR is a London-based start-up offering a 'digital logbook' — a Digital Product Passport embedded in a device via a durable QR code or NFC chip — that records a product's history from production and sale through ownership changes and servicing. It launched at High End Munich 2024 with a focus on high-end audio and now pairs its ASSETID passport with GeoTag GPS tracking for high-value equipment in the audio-visual, events, aerospace, defence and security sectors. The company states the product supports manufacturers selling electronics into the EU in meeting DPP requirements.
