KURZ Digital Solutions, the software unit of the LEONHARD KURZ group in Fürth, offers Digital Product Passport PLUS, a cloud or on-premises platform that links each physical product via a QR code to verified data on materials, origin, manufacturing, sustainability and service. Beyond compliance, it bundles anti-counterfeiting checks, track-and-trace for grey-market detection, self-service and spare-parts content, and on-product marketing. KURZ states that the solution meets the requirements of the EU Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2024/1781, and it also offers a separate Battery Passport. Demo use cases cover home appliances, power tools, toys and apparel (provider-stated).
